About
I’m a U.S. Navy veteran and cybersecurity professional with hands-on experience in detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, and offensive security. I’ve worked across Windows, Linux, and Active Directory environments, with a particular interest in understanding how systems work, how they’re attacked, and how to defend them.
I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity through the SANS Technology Institute.
Training & Certifications
I hold the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and CompTIA Security+ certifications and completed a cybersecurity apprenticeship through RapidAscent.
As part of my bachelor’s program at SANS, I’ve earned my GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT) and GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) certifications. I’m currently working toward my GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
My training and hands-on work have covered Active Directory security, SIEM-based detection, network forensics, penetration testing, and both offensive and defensive security operations.
Military Background
My background includes five years of experience working with robotic systems in the U.S. Navy at EODMU-1, using sonar to locate underwater mines and other objects. I planned operations, led missions, and maintained a fleet of robotic systems to support leadership throughout the full detect-to-engage sequence.
